Teen/Adolescent Therapy
Adolescence is a time of rapid physical, emotional, and social change. As teens form their identity, build relationships with friends, and seek independence, they may face increased stress, mood shifts, and family conflict. This stage can feel both exciting and overwhelming to teens and their parents.
My approach to counseling for adolescents provides a safe and supportive space for teens to explore their thoughts and emotions and get in touch with the reasons why they are acting and feeling like they are. I work with youth 12 years and up facing issues like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image concerns, academic stress, peer and family struggles, and identity questions. My compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach helps teens build self-awareness, manage emotions, learn new tools, and develop lasting, healthy relationships.
